Listening Exercise 2: Does Rowan Atkinson Want Mr Bean to Come Back?

Listening is one of the basic language skills you need and use in every language. When you are having a conversation, you’re not only talking but you need to listen as well to make sure you understand what the other person is saying. If this is not the case, it’s really difficult to have a real conversation.

That’s why it is really important that you practice your English listening skills. You can do this in multiple ways, but a convenient way is watching videos and answering questions. This listening exercise is exactly that!

You can find two sets of questions below the video and you should try and answer one (or both of them) after watching the video. Once you answered the questions, you can check to see how you did. The correction keys to the questions are also available below the video.

Does Rowan Atkinson Want Mr Bean to Come Back?

For this listening exercise, you need to watch a video in which you see a conversation between Rowan Atkinson and Graham Norton in an episode of the Graham Norton Show. Rowan Atkinson got famous for his iconic role as Mr. Bean. The first episode was released in 1990, but almost everyone knows Mr. Bean, even 30 years later.

Graham Norton asked several questions about a possible return of Mr. Bean and how Rowan Atkinson feels about people who recognise him when he’s on vacation.

Watch the video and answer the questions.
